We have added a new single origin to our coffee range, Kenya, available in both 250g and 1kg bags. Normally we receive our coffees through dropshipping from the roaster but for this one we wanted to experience it directly. We ordered a 250g bag for ourselves so we can taste it and give an honest review.
Introducing a new single origin is always exciting and this one already feels promising with its bright and distinctive character. Today we have been brewing it, tasting it and getting a full sense of its flavour profile.
After tasting it we noticed a clear fruity quality that fits perfectly with the blackcurrant tasting notes. It has a smooth and pleasant finish and it is certainly a lovely coffee to enjoy.
We also tried a second cup with Cadbury chocolate powder and it created a very smooth and rich mocha. The fruity notes blend beautifully with the chocolate and it makes an absolutely lovely cup.
As we continue tasting it we will share more thoughts including aroma, tasting notes and how it compares with the coffees already in our selection.
